The Irukandji is a feature-packed dive watch, originally funded on Kickstarter in 2019. The energised 'Starfish Orange' is ready for delivery now! Just like its namesake, a highly venomous jellyfish found in the coastal waters of North-East Australia, the Irukandji is small in size, but packs a serious punch! Design inspiration for this piece came from the Irukandji jellyfish itself, with the contoured body of the case flowing seamlessly into the bezel, then topped with a domed sapphire crystal, reminiscent of the body of the jellyfish. The case was hand-sculpted, and each Irukandji is hand-finished, for an organic transition between case surfaces. Angular, 'tentacle' lugs complete the picture. Specifications: - 316L stainless steel case, brushed; - drilled lugs; - domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the underside; - unidirectional bezel with lumed ceramic insert; - signed, screw-down crown (200M WR); - stamped caseback with Irukandji artwork; - automatic Seiko NH35 movement. The Irukandji case is 42mm at the wrist, and 39.5mm at the bezel, for a unique case design that suits a variety of wrist sizes and preferences (20mm lug width; 46mm lug to lug; 13.13mm height, from caseback to bezel). All Irukandji come with a nylon two-piece strap, with quick release spring bars to facilitate easy strap changes. This listing also includes a 'rivet style' stainless steel bracelet.
